The San Antonio Spurs have converted the two-way contracts of forward Devontae Cacok and guard Joe Wieskamp to standard NBA contracts, the team announced Friday.
Cacok, 25, has played in 11 games for San Antonio this season, averaging 3.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 8.4 minutes. In 28 games for the Austin Spurs, the third-year forward holds averages of 19.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 30.7 minutes.
Wieskamp, 22, has appeared in 18 games this year for San Antonio in his first NBA season, averaging 2.1 points in 5.3 minutes. In 24 games for the Austin Spurs, the former Iowa Hawkeye is averaging 14.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 32.3 minutes.
The Spurs drafted him with the 41st overall selection in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft.
In addition, they signed guard DJ Stewart Jr. and forward Robert Woodard II to two-way contracts.
The 22-year-old Stewart Jr.has appeared in 34 games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA G League this season, averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.68 steals in 36.6 minutes.
Woodard II, 22, has played in 15 games this season for the Oklahoma City Blue and Stockton Kings in the NBA G League, where he is averaging 12.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 26.9 minutes.
