Pels’ Williamson out indefinitely with fractured left ring finger

The New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has a fractured left ring finger, the team announced on Friday.

According to the Pelicans, Williamson will be sidelined indefinitely. A timetable for his return will be determined upon further evaluation.

Williamson is averaging 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

New Orleans(30-36) is in Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Friday night. Currently, the Pelicans are 1.5 games behind the Spurs for the 10th and final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.
