WBA junior lightweight champion Gervonta Davis and IBF junior lightweight champion Tevin Farmer have been going back in forth on social media and in person, but to this point, the two have not settled their differences in the ring, and based on the way things are going, it might not happen anytime soon.
Davis is signed to Al Haymon and PBC, which means his fights are more than likely going to be either on FOX or Showtime. Conversely, Farmer has a co-promotional agreement with Matchroom Boxing, which means he is more than probably going to be fighting on DAZN. With all that being said, getting these two in the ring might be a tricky proposition.
For Davis, this fight is personal, and if the match were to happen, Davis would do everything in his power to really hurt Farmer.
“I would try to break every bone in his body,” Davis recently told goforitradio.com “I would really try to kill him in there.”
Well, let’s hope no one gets seriously hurt, and hopefully, this fight can happen.
