Utah Jazz star rookie Donovan Mitchell is having a tremendous season. Mitchell is averaging 20.5 ppg, 3.7 apg, and 3.7 rpg in 77 games with Jazz.
However, 76ers rookie phenom Ben Simmons is having a tremendous rookie season as well. Simmons is averaging 16.1 ppg, 8.2 apg, and 8.1 rpg in 79 games with the 76ers.
While this is Simmons second season in the NBA, he is considered a rookie because he did not play a game last season for the 76ers.
The big debate around the NBA is who should win the 2018 Rookie of the Year award?
Simmons is on the record in saying that he believes he should be the Rookie of the Year, while others, like Draymond Green, think Mitchell should win the award.
Tonight, before the Jazz-Warriors game. Mitchell wore a unique hoodie to the game.
