Ex-NBA player ‘Big Baby’ Davis arrested on drug charges

Glen “Big Baby” Davis, who played for the Celtics, Magic, Raptors, and Clippers, was arrested back in February on drug charges.

According to ABC2 in Baltimore, the 32-year-old Davis was caught with 126 grams of marijuana in a hotel room in Aberdeen, MD.

“They recovered 126 grams of marijuana,” said Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber told ABC2. “In addition to that there was a brief case that contained 92,164 dollars of U.S. currency along with a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”

Davis was indicted weeks later on seven counts of drug possession and distribution, according to the report.

Davis is best known for helping the Celtics win an NBA title in 2008. He last played in the league in 2015 with the Clippers.

According to spotrac.com, Davis has earned over $33 million during his nine-year NBA career.
