The New York Giants 2017 season is essentially over after losing to the previous winless Los Angeles Chargers 27-22 on Sunday. The Giants are now 0-5.
New York lost wide receivers Sterling Shephard and Brandon Marshall earlier in the game to injury, and would lose Odell Beckham Jr. late in the game with a fractured ankle.
During the game, and before his injury, an emotional Beckham was seen crying on the sideline. Punter Brad Wing, who was Beckham’s teammate at LSU, was seen consoling Beckham on the sideline.
