After three weeks in the NFL, the Tennessee Titans have shown a lot of promise. They dominated the Jaguars on the road in Week 2, and last Sunday, they beat the Seahawks at home. Along the way, the offense is putting up points(28 ppg), and the defense is doing enough to help Tennessee get off to a 2-1 start.
Based off what we have seen after three weeks, this might not be the same old Titans. However, linebacker Avery Williamson feels teams are still taking Tennessee lightly:
“It’s crazy, I feel like teams still take us kind of lightly at times, and it’s pretty crazy to see how far we come; to beating teams, like we did last year, and starting this year. It’s really remarkable to see it, man,” Williamson told the Go4it podcast hosted by Paul Gant. “We have one goal in mind, and that’s going to the last game. That’s getting the trophy, man. So, I feel like we got the team that’s capable of doing that.”
The AFC South is a very winnable division for the Titans. The Texans are starting a rookie QB, Jacksonville still has a lot of questions at the QB poostion, and the Colts are still without Andrew Luck.
Therefore, the Titans are in a good position right now. Playoffs? That definitely could happen. Super Bowl? Maybe not this year, but the future seems bright in Tennessee.
