The Philadelphia 76ers are a team looking to take the next step. At this point, “The Process” is over, and now it’s time for the harvest.
Philly has young talent in Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, and Markelle Fultz. In addition, some decent veterans in JJ Redick and Robert Covington. In the Eastern Conference, the playoffs are a possibility for Philadelphia.
Backup center Richaun Holmes believes the 76ers can make the playoffs in 2017-18:
“I definitely feel like we could make the playoffs,” Holmes told Go4it host Paul Gant. “We got the talent. It’s just the fact of putting it together and us meshing. I definitely think we could make the playoffs next year, and I think that’s the goal.”
Holmes feels the 76ers stack up well against any team in the NBA:
“I feel like we’re competitive with any team. We always play hard,” Holmes said. “With that attitude and with the talent that we have, we could compete with anybody.”
If the young talent in Philly can come together, and if guys can stay healthy(Embiid and Simmons), the Sixers can make the playoffs in 2017-18!
