Raiders QB Derek Carr wanted to be a Raider for life, and after today, that could be a possibility. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Carr, 26, signed a 5-year, 125 million extension to stay with the Raiders. This is the largest contract in NFL history.

Also, at 25 million per season, Carr now has the highest salary per year in the NFL.
Last season, with Carr, the Raiders were on their way to winning the AFC West. Without Carr, the Raiders exited the playoffs in the wild-card round. The two-time Pro Bowler is one of better quarterbacks in the game!
It’s a great time to be Derek Carr!
