LeBron James did everything in his power to defeat the Golden State Warriors in the 2017 NBA Finals, but the addition of Kevin Durant was too much for him to overcome. The Warriors won the NBA Finals in five games on Monday night. James, who became the first play to average a triple-double in the history of the NBA Finals, now has to find a way to defeat this Warriors team.
LeBron knows what it is like to play on a “super team.” He played on a “super team” in Miami, and helped assemble one in Cleveland. However, Lebron does not believe he has ever played on a “super team.” in his career. “I don’t believe I played for a super team,” James said after losing his fifth NBA Finals series.
Maybe LeBron is forgetting something, or maybe he actually believes it.
