Heat prez Pat Riley on 2017 NBA Finals: ‘I think it’s going to be one of the best ever’

Heat president Pat Riley knows a lot about the NBA Finals. As a coach, Riley won four championships with the “Showtime” Lakers, and won another one with the 2006 Miami Heat. So, when Pat Riley talks about the NBA Finals, we all have to listen.

Riley told TMZ Sports, that he expects to see a very good NBA Finals:

“I like to see a great finals. I’m about a great finals. I think it’s going to be one of the best ever.”

While LeBron’s seven straight NBA Finals appearances are impressive, Riley did not want us to forget what Magic Johnson did:

“The Lakers with Magic Johnson went to the finals, during “Showtime,” nine times in 12 years,” Riley said to TMZ Sports.

I actually believe LeBron could actually get to nine straight NBA Finals. At this point, the Eastern Conference still does not have a team that can dethrone the Cavs. However, anything is possible.
