In a move that is essentially a salary dump. The Texans trade Brock Osweiler, 2017 sixth-round pick, and 2018 second-round pick to the Browns for a 2017 sixth-round pick and basically 10 million dollars of cap space. Reports are that Houston will use the money to try to acquire Tony Romo.
Browns fans don’t be worried; the Browns are said to be trying to trade Osweiler or even release him. Plus, Cleveland has a ton of cap space to play with.
Should be interesting to see if the Texans can get their hands on Romo.
Teams already have reached out to Browns to inquire about Brock Osweiler's availability, per team sources.
