Durant making progress?

Video has surfaced of Kevin Durant shooting jumpers in pre game last night in Dallas. Durant is trying to return from a sprained MCL and tibial bone bruise. According to ESPN.COM, the team is encouraged by his progress.

This bodes well for the Warriors. There is no title for GSW without Kevin Durant!

Spurs-Warriors: Not fair to fans!

Last night’s game between Warriors-Spurs felt like a pre-season contest. There was no buzz in that building last night. Fans pay top dollar to watch Curry, Klay, and Draymond. Not Zaza, Ian Clark, or Kevon Looney. In terms of the Spurs, their injuries were legit. Kawhi Leonard is in concussion protocol; LaMarcus Aldridge has a heart issue. They get a pass.

No one cared about the fans in the arena, and no one cared about the fans watching at home!  A highly anticipated game turned out to be a waste of time. The NBA is going to have to do something about this issue. It is like going to a concert and expecting Jay-Z, but getting Memphis Bleek.

End of the day, it is not fair to the fans, TV rights holders and everybody else!

Barnes back to the Warriors

Today is a good day to be Matt Barnes. Needing a player to replace Kevin Durant the Warriors signed forward Matt Barnes. Obviously you can’t replace Durant unless Lebron is coming through that door, but in Barnes you get a guy who can defend, shoot a little, and give you solid minutes.  Plus, Barnes now has a legitimate shot to win a NBA title.

Warriors players react to Durant’s injury

Kevin Durant is out for at least four weeks with a MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise. KD’s teammates react to his injury on Twitter. Here are a few:

Durant out indefinitely

The Warriors and Kevin Durant dodged a bullet today. It was learned today that Kevin Durant will be out indefinitely with a MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise. After four weeks, Durant will be re-evaluated.  I guess it could have been worse. We’ll see what happens after four weeks. Indefinitely could possibly turn into longer(see Joel Embiid) if things do not look good after four weeks. Hopefully KD will be back sooner than later.

Shaq to Kevin Durant: “Mind yo business”

The beef between Shaquille O’Neal and Javale McGee continues on. Now, Shaq is giving Kevin Durant the business too!  Durant, who came out in defense of McGee, received a couple tweets from “The Diesel.”
