Minnesota Vikings’ QB CASE KEENUM and the MINNESOTA MIRACLE was named the BRIDGESTONE ELITE PERFORMANCE PLAY OF THE YEAR. The award was announced tonight at NFL HONORS – a two-hour primetime awards show that will air nationally tonight at 9 PM ET/PT on NBC.

The Bridgestone Elite Performance Play of the Year was selected from 32 Performance Moments voted on by NFL fans on NFL.com.

Case Keenum threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs as time expired in the Divisional Playoff game against the New Orleans Saints. Vikings radio announcer Paul Allen called it the “Minnesota Miracle” in real time. The play marked the first game-winning touchdown on the final play of the fourth quarter in NFL postseason history.

It has been a few weeks since Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs did the impossible when he scored a walk-off, miracle touchdown against the Saints to send the Vikings to the NFC title game.

It’s a play that many will remember forever. However, to Hall of Famer Willie Roaf, who played for the Saints from 1993-2001, that play is not so memorable.

In the closing seconds of the game, Roaf decided that watching the end of the game was too much for him to handle, so he chose not to watch:

“I did not want to see what would happen the last 30 seconds, 40 seconds,” Roaf told the Go4it podcast hosted by Paul Gant. “I went outside, so I wasn’t even in the house. My wife came out and told me that they threw the touchdown pass. I could not believe it, and she replayed it for me. And I went into the house and saw it. And I just don’t understand what coverage they were running. All you gotta to do was just tackle the guy in bounds. They got ten seconds on the clock and no timeouts. All you got to do was tackle the guy, and the clock runs out, and the game is over.”

As you can see, Vikings fans will remember this play forever; while Saints fans and Willie Roaf would love to forget about it!

Last week, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie celebrated Philly’s victory over Atlanta with a dance. On Sunday, after the Eagles dominated the Vikings 38-7 to advance to Super Bowl, Lurie did it again!

Hopefully, for Eagles fans, he will be dancing again in two weeks when Philly battles the Patriots in Super Bowl 52.

The Philadelphia Eagles are putting it on the Minnesota Vikings in NFC title game. Eagles QB Nick Foles has played some fantastic football! Outside of a miracle, it looks like Philly is going to the Super Bowl to play the New England Patriots.

FROM “WORST TO FIRST”: The PHILADELPHIA EAGLES and JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS both advanced to the Conference Championship Games after completing “worst-to-first” turnarounds this season. At least one team has won its division the season after finishing in or tied for last place in 14 of the past 15 seasons.

The last two teams that went from “worst-to-first” in their divisions to earn a Super Bowl berth were the 2003 Carolina Panthers (Super Bowl XXXVIII) and the 2009 New Orleans Saints, who won Super Bowl XLIV.

What a great weekend of football, especially in the NFC. On Saturday, the Eagles defense stopped the Falcons on 4th & goal at the 2, and Philly beat the Falcons 15-10.

On Sunday, the Vikings’ Stefon Diggs made an unbelievable catch and run as the Vikings beat the Saints on the final play of the game 29-24.

“Do you believe in Miracles?”  A miracle is what we saw at the end of the Saints-Vikings divisional round matchup. Stefon Diggs had a 61-yard TD at the end of regulation as the Vikings beat the Saints in improbable fashion 29-24 to go to the NFC title game against Philadelphia.

Just like U.S. Bank Stadium was unhinged, so was Xcel Energy Center(home of the Minnesota Wild)

What a crazy ending in Minnesota! Stefon Diggs had a walk-off touchdown against the Saints as the Vikings beat New Orleans 29-24, and now the Vikings are off to Philly to battle the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

While that game was going on, the Timberwolves were preparing to play the Blazers at the Target Center in Minnesota.

According to Ian Rapoport, Vikings RB Dalvin Cook could be out for the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. Cook injured his knee against the Lions on Sunday. The 22-year-old rookie had played well for the Vikings this season. Losing their prized rookie for the season would be a huge blow to the Vikings.
