  • Louisiana State S JAMAL ADAMS was selected sixth overall by the New York Jets, joining his father GEORGE ADAMS (1985, New York Giants) as the eighth father-son combination to be drafted in the first round in the common draft era.

Myles Garrett goes number one to Browns

In a not so surprising move, with the number one pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Browns select former Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett. In Garrett, the Browns get what could be a dominating DE for the next 10-15, or if you believe like Warren Sapp, you might get a bust. We’ll let time take care of that one.

Should be interesting what the Browns do with the number 12 pick. We’ll find out in about a hour.

Texas A&M star Myles Garrett on sacking Tom Brady: ‘He is supposed to be the GOAT, so I want to take him down’

Former Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett is expected to go number one(Browns) in the 2017 NFL Draft. Garrett had a great career at Texas A&M, a great combine, and pro day.  Now, he is setting his sights on Tom Brady. When asked by ESPN THE MAGAZINE which quarterback he is looking forward to sacking, Garrett had this to say:

“Tom Brady. He is supposed to be the GOAT, so I want to take him down, show him the best can still get humbled sometimes. Also because I’m a Peyton Manning fan.”

If Garrett becomes the player that many think he could be, he should get a sack or two on Brady at some point.

Its official: Myles Garrett is a beast!!

Cleveland you are on the clock, but maybe not for long. Myles Garrett did his thing at the NFL combine. He ran the 40 in 4.64, had 33 reps of 225 and unofficially a 41 inch vertical. Those type of numbers will probably make him the number one pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Here are some reaction:
