Matt Barnes: ‘People get caught up so much in hating on LeBron James instead of sitting back and realize you’re witnessing history’

When you are best, people tend to come after you. This is the life of Cavaliers star LeBron James. “King James” has done it all; 3x NBA champion, 13x All-Star,  and 4x league MVP.

When it’s all said and done, LeBron might end up as the GOAT.

Free agent F Matt Barnes, who played for the Warriors last season, was a guest on FS1’s Undisputed.  Here is how Barnes feels about the greatness of LeBron James:

Derek Fisher wrecks car registered to Matt Barnes

There is no love lost between Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher. The former teammates have been at odds ever since Fisher started dating Barnes’ ex-wife Gloria Govan.  Now, Barnes probably hates Fisher even more. According to TMZ Sports, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade that Derek Fisher crashed last Sunday morning in Los Angeles is registered to Matt Barnes. Fisher was charged with DUI. Fortunately, for Fisher and his passenger Govan, they were not injured.

The car involved in the crash, according to TMZ Sports, was for Barnes and Govan’s two children.

What a mess!!

Matt Barnes on his time in Sacramento: ‘Things didn’t go well there’

Matt Barnes is one lucky guy. He was able to get out of Sacramento, and land with the best team in the NBA. Barnes, who signed with the Warriors after being released by the Kings, will get an opportunity at revenge tonight as the Warriors host Sacramento. Barnes told reporters what he wants to do to the Kings:

“I’m trying to kill em,” said Barnes “Plain and simple. Things didn’t go well there.”

Well, there is a good possibility that Barnes and Warriors will “kill” the Kings, but that is not saying much!

Barnes back to the Warriors

Today is a good day to be Matt Barnes. Needing a player to replace Kevin Durant the Warriors signed forward Matt Barnes. Obviously you can’t replace Durant unless Lebron is coming through that door, but in Barnes you get a guy who can defend, shoot a little, and give you solid minutes.  Plus, Barnes now has a legitimate shot to win a NBA title.
