Manziel goes to the CFL

After two years out of football, Johnny Manziel announced on Twitter today that he is going to the CFL. Manziel has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL.  Manziel last played in the NFL with the Browns in 2015.

Hopefully, for the 25-year-old Manziel, the second chapter will be much better than the first.

The CFL season begins in June.

Make Vince Great Again?

Former NFL quarterback Vince Young is attempting a comeback. According to his agent Leigh Steinberg, Young has been in talks with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL, and apparently there is some interest from the new Spring League.  Also, Young has a trademark application out there for the slogan “Make Vince Great Again.”

I’m not sure at 34 Young can be great again, but I am rooting for the guy.  Canada is a good start, and who knows what could happen from there!
