The Minnesota Vikings have signed veteran corner Bené Benwikere, the team announced today.

In six seasons,  Benwikere has appeared in 54 games (22 starts) and totaling 158 tackles, 25 passes defensed, three interceptions and 1.5 sacks for his career.

Benwikere was originally drafted in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, Benwikere has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, and Oakland Raiders,

To make room for Benwikere, the Vikings waived undrafted rookie CB Terrence Alexander.
