No Ben Simmons this year!
The Philadelphia 76ers announced on Friday that rookie Ben Simmons is out for the year. According to the 76ers, Simmons foot is not completely healed.
I guess he is on the Nerlens Noel, Joel Embiid plan (both players did not play as rookies).
I guess the good news for Simmons is he is still eligible to win Rookie of the Year next season.
Do Philly fans still #TrustTheProcess?
Oakley watches the Knicks in Cleveland
Charles Oakley could not watch his Knicks in peace in New York, so he had to watch them in Cleveland. Unfortunately for Oak, he went home sad! The Knicks got beat down by the Cavaliers 119-104. Hopefully Oakley will go back to The Garden soon!

Pacquiao-Khan?
According to reports, Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan are negotiating a possible fight in Dubai. The fight could possibly take place in April. This is an intriguing fight. Pacquaio was in negotiations to fight Jeff Horn, but who is Jeff Horn?
I would love to see Pacquaio fight Khan or Broner next. We’ll see how this plays out.
What do think?
Currently negotiating with Manny #teampacquiao. Coming soon. Watch this space!

Nerlens Noel to Mavericks
The 76ers finally traded a center, but it is not who you thought it would be. 76ers send Nerlens Noel to the Mavericks for Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut and 2017 1st round pick(which is top 18 protected; can convert to two 2nd rounders).
Analysis: Bogut probably will be bought out. The Mavericks probably won’t make the playoffs, so the 1st rounder will convert to two 2nd round picks. The 76ers get some value for a player that they probably were not going to re-sign(Noel restricted free agent at end of the year), and the Mavericks get a young, shot blocking, athletic big in Noel. Maybe Noel helps the Mavericks make a playoff push.

Philadelphia 76ers might be busy before the trade deadline
According to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers have traded Ersan Ilyasova to the Hawks for Tiago Splitter and two second-round picks. Also, Wojnarowski is reporting that the 76ers and Bulls are still talking about a possible swap for Jahlil Okafor.
Hopefully there will be some big moves come Thursday!

Former NFL first rounder fired for social media post
Watch what you do on social media! According to former NFL player Fernando Bryant, his wife’s Instagram post from three years ago cost him his job. Bryant, who was drafted in the first-round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1999, was the head coach for Strong Rock Christian School. Bryant’s termination letter cites social media as a reason for his firing.
