The Los Angeles Sparks have signed Alissa Pili to a 7-day contract, the team announced Sunday.
Pili, who the Lynx released in July, averaged 1.9 points per contest in 14 games this season.
In 36 games over two WNBA seasons, the 24-year-old forward is averaging 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.3% from the field and 34.2% from beyond the arc.
Pili, who was born in Alaska, is of both Samoan and Iñupiaq (Native Alaskan) descent and is the first Alaska Native woman to be drafted by or play for a WNBA team.
She played her first three collegiate campaigns for the University of Southern California Trojans, earning All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year distinction as a freshman.
Pili was drafted eighth overall by the Minnesota Lynx in 2024 out of the University of Utah, where Sparks Head Coach Lynne Roberts coached her for her final two collegiate seasons.
The Sparks, who have won seven of their last nine games, return to action on Tuesday when they host the Indiana Fever.
