QB Blake Bortles will stay in Jacksonville after signing an extension with the team until 2020, the Jaguars announced today.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the three-year extension is worth $54 million, which covers the fifth-year option and two additional years.
Bortles was scheduled to make $19 million next season, according to the report.
Bortles, 25, led the Jaguars to the AFC title game last season. The Jaguars made the playoffs for the first time since 2007.
