Panthers QB Cam Newton apologized on Thursday night for his comments on Wednesday, which many have called sexist.
On Wednesday, Newton was asked a question about the route running style of WR Devin Funchess by Charlotte Observer beat reporter Jourdan Rodrigue. Newton had this to say: “It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes.”
Because of his comments, Newton lost a sponsorship deal with Oikos Greek Yogurt
